Just bought a new 50mm 1.8 lens. I like it a lot so far. Seems to be very sharp and I love the shallow depth of field at 1.8.
Here are a few of my first images with the new lens. I used Zoe as a test model. She didn't seem to mind because I gave her animal crackers for it. Of course she'll just about do anything for a treat.

Zoe has always been a very photogenic dog. She will pretty much do anything I ask her to do. Haven't done a black and white of her before so I thought I would give it a shot.
