Zoe has always been a very photogenic dog. She will pretty much do anything I ask her to do. Haven't done a black and white of her before so I thought I would give it a shot.

Shot in downtown Roanoke. Got a little barrel distortion with this one, but I still like it. It kind of gives it the feeling of being shot with a fisheye lens (maybe a little).

So these were at Hollins University. Almost all of the trash cans were decorated in some way. Many of them had recycling quotations written all over them.

So after looking back at this photo, I decided to do a little reworking and add a subtle soft focus effect. I think the results improved the photo a little.

Original Post:
This was taken at Hollins University. This little guy came running across the field when I came up to the gate. He then kept hitting his nose against the chain as if he wanted to get out.

This was taken at Carvin's Cove, the reservoir for Roanoke. Seems to be a pretty nice place. There are a lot of biking trails, and you can boat on the lake.

Another shot from Fincastle. This one was taken inside the town history museum. This room was originally the only room in the building. It was a lawyers office.

This shot was taken in downtown Fincastle, Virginia in Botetourt County. History Fact- I went in the town museum while there today and learned that Botetourt County once (1770's) went all the way to the Mississippi River.
